UPDATE — Connecticut Minimum Wage Increases – Again

Minimum wage workers in Connecticut now will earn $14 an hour as of July 1st. Are you in compliance? Employers should alert their payroll company of this rate increase as the payroll company may not catch it automatically in the first pay period!
Over the next few months and years, minimum wage in Connecticut will steadily increase to $15 an hour. The schedule is:

Beginning on January 1, 2024, Connecticut’s minimum wage will become indexed to the employment cost index, which is calculated by the U.S. Department of Labor. We will keep you updated on any further developments in this area.
