Brody and Associates, LLC is excited to announce Bob Brody and Kate Bogard will be speaking on the Employer Minefield in the #MeToo Era on September 4, 2019 at the newly transformed Westport, Connecticut library. We are greatly honored to be chosen to present in this new state of the art facility.
What is the Employer Minefield in the #MeToo Era?
From small family owned and closely held businesses to Fortune 500 companies, the litany of personnel workplace challenges is immense yet managers must somehow manage them all. Start with the #MeToo movement which was not just abuse based on sex, but abuse based on power. Then consider the February murder of 5 employees in a manufacturer’s HR office. Then turn to the more daily challenges such as avoiding discrimination in favor of and against a pregnant employee; addressing an employee who uses medical marijuana; and finally, deciding which restroom is proper for a male employee transitioning to a female or vice versa. All of this will be discussed.
