On May 29th, Brody and Associates attorneys joined with several families in the community to prepare and serve a tasty enchilada dinner at the Community Kitchen in the Gillespie Center in Westport, Connecticut. The Center offers a continuum of services to members of the community in addition to the meals, including permanent supportive housing, emergency shelters, and mentoring.
On May 15th, Susan Westphal attended the annual Keith Landesman Memorial Golf Tournament and Cancer Research Fundraiser. The proceeds of the event were used to support a research laboratory recommended by the Cancer Research Institute.
On May 29th, Abby Warren attended the 15th Annual Yale Sappern Memorial Fund Dinner. The proceeds of the fund support student intern positions designed to provide legal support for victims of domestic violence.
On July 11th, Abby Warren attended a presentation at Quinnipiac University’s North Haven campus entitled Emergency Management: Plan, Prepare, and Mitigate on how organizations are preparing for emergencies in today’s world. The presentation was hosted by the Human Resource Council of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.
