Brody and Associates is pleased to announce Alexander Friedman, Esq. has joined our Firm as an Associate. Prior to joining Brody and Associates, Alex practiced general litigation and employment litigation. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law where he was an Associate Editor on the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy. He completed his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and was Valedictorian at The Hun School of Princeton. Alex was born in Minsk, Belarus, USSR, was raised in New Jersey, and speaks fluent Russian. He is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New Jersey. Please join us in welcoming Alex to our Firm. On April 3rd, Abby Warren presented to the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Strategic Business Planning Group. Abby discussed Labor and Employment law issues facing small businesses including wage and hour law, Obamacare compliance, and employment at will.
Bob Brody was quoted in the March 24th issue of Home Health Line, a national business news publication for home health agency executives. Bob shared his thoughts on legally and effectively laying off employees in today’s challenging economy.
